Few people realize that the energy used to make one hundred dollars is often the same amount of energy required to make one thousands dollars.  Here is an example of what I mean: On one side of town  there is a truckdriver. Let's say he drives his truck for one hour and receives payment of $5.00 for his labor and energy output. On the other side of town there is a rich businessman sitting in his plush office. For one hour he pores over documents and contracts, signs his name a few times and makes a series of phone calls. As a result of his one hour's labor he makes one million dollars! The same amount of time, the same amount of energy output, but what a difference in results!
